This post is especially for a few students and clients of mine in Prague, but I’ll back here soon with new content on Get Into English!
While I’m away, it’s important to move forward with your English programme. As a note to everyone, in fact, just because you’re in between courses or your teacher is away, doesn’t mean that you have the excuse to sit back at home and do nothing for your English.
So to give you a little push, I have posted some topics which you can write on. You can find them on the Get Into English Student Lounge here.
Basic tips and reminders
Try to get practice in doing one, preferably two, pieces of writing each week while I’m away. Genres that you can choose from include:
- writing an article
- writing a story
- writing a business email (especially if you need practice in English for work or for the Cambridge BEC Vantage or Higher exams)
- I’ll post additional questions today: writing an informal email, a formal email, a review, an essay, and a report.
Once again, the link for the questions is here.
All up, go for at least FOUR pieces of writing before I touch down in Prague once more.
Finally, please start a new thread on the forum, and upload your answers here so that everything is in the one place ๐
