Here are some mistakes which come from 2 recent classes. See if you can correct them – and don’t peep at the answers till you’ve gone through them each one by one!
Level: Intermediate and higher (B1+)
Time: 10-15 mins
Eg. I’d like see him → I’d like TO see him.
- I listen radio every morning.
- I spend a lot of my time in job.
- I know what does it mean.
- I recommend you to visit the castle this weekend.
- – Was Vaclav Havel a good president?
- I wanted continue the class but I didn’t have time.
- He went to Sydney before 5 years.
- I usually wake up to school at about 7 o’clock.
- She bought the flowers to my sister.
- I spoke to him few minutes ago.
- I’d like to know more about 1950’s.
- I’d like to get job soon.
- One of my teacher told me to do it.
- They have luck.
- I go to fitness once a week.
- I heard many gossips about it.
- I got some very good feedbacks from my manager.
- I’m married since 8 years.
- – I can’t find a job anywhere!
- – I think, that yes.
